SHARE YOUR LIFE STORY

My Story programming and booklets provide a guided journey through your stories and the stories of others. We have 3 types of programming: Premium, Standard, and Training Packages. Each program is offered for all of our 4 curriculum levels: Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, Jr-Sr High, and Adult.

School and Youth Programs (booklets included)

FPI Facilitators can either provide training for your instructional or leadership team or facilitate the workshops for you.  Each of the four chapters is divided into 5 lessons that walk students through the process of building their story. It’s suggested to introduce each chapter quarterly, but it can be executed in shorter increments. By the end of the lessons, students have created their own storybook of their life.

Personal and Professional Development (booklets included)

When adults are more self-aware and more willing to listen to their peers and coworkers, empathy grows. Empathy is the key that opens the door to greater collaboration, effectiveness, and corporate success. We offer a number of options for training from full-day workshops to customized retreats.

Booklets

Our resources are designed for all age groups with four simple chapters: Beginnings, Challenges, Hope, and Future. In addition to writing their stories, there is space to paste a photograph or draw a picture representing each chapter. By engaging minds cognitively and creatively, the lessons they learn will gain in strength and power.

1

EVERY STORY HAS A BEGINNING

What do your opening pages hold? Where did your story start?
What characters played a part in setting the stage for your life?

2

EVERY STORY HAS CHALLENGES

What difficulties have you faced?
Were there dark twists and turns in your story?

3

EVERY STORY HAS HOPE

Who or what gives you hope?
Where did your story take a turn for the better?

4

EVERY STORY HAS A FUTURE

Where will your story take you in the days ahead?
What would you like to see in your last chapter?

“It’s important to know their stories, because then I know my kids.”

— Elana Heinonen, 1st Grade Teacher
